About Us
Eastside Nurse Aide Training (ENAT) is committed to provide and promote a positive image of Nursing in all interactions. It is owned and operated by a registered nurse (RN, BSN) with over 36 years’ experience in Pediatric, Neonatal, Maternal-Infant, Home Health, School Nursing & Nursing education; and who has been actively and continuously licensed since 1983, from 1989 to the present in Washington state.
Our owner began teaching registered nurse (RN) and nurse aide (CNA) students in 2012, and has been a lecturer, skills lab coordinator and clinical instructor for both nurse aide and registered nursing students. Most recently, as the coordinator and lead instructor of a local college-level CNA (certified nursing assistant) Program, the student pass rate on the WA state certification exams was raised from 52% to 100% in one term.
In 2015, our owner became trained as a WA state nurse aide evaluator (NAE). As an evaluator, and QA (quality assurance) auditor for testing facilities, she currently administers the skills certification exam for nurse aide students at both in-facility (INF) and regional testing sites (RTS) throughout Washington state. As a result, she is extremely familiar with the educational testing requirements necessary for successful nurse aide certification in WA state. Eastside Nurse Aide Training (ENAT) offers two CNA Programs (weekday & weekend), CNA certification tutoring and test preparation by a current WA nursing assistant evaluator with Credentia. We are a regional testing site (RTS) open to all nursing assistant program graduates who seek to successfully complete the written and skills testing requirements to become certified as a nursing assistant (CNA) in WA state and as an in-facility site for our own students. Located in Bellevue, it is currently the only RTS and privately-owned CNA Program on Seattle’s “Eastside”. It is conveniently located with easy access to I-520, I-405 and the future Sound Transit rail system.
